Under physical threats, the employee is told that something bad will befall upon them because of something they are doing or just because of some misunderstanding. A senior employee may become jealous of junior staff and due to this they may seek on how to make their work hard in the organisation by intimidating them since they are of a higher power than them in the hierarchy of command. When an employee faces intimidation from someone within the organisation they can go forward and report the matter because intimidation is not accepted by law.
Physical assault is another type of workplace harassment that exists in the workplace. This is not strange because we have encountered cases of people that have been beaten by their employers while doing their work. One, therefore, has to understand that this is unacceptable and in the event, they are physically assaulted by their employer or any senior person in the workplace environment they can always seek legal action against the individual for doing so.
Name-calling is another type of workplace harassment that they are is. This type of workplace harassment is the one where an individual is given a name that does not match him or her so that it disturbs the person. A victim of name-calling in any organisation should understand that this is not acceptable by law and therefore in the event, a person nicknames them they should seek legal action against the individual so that they stop calling them by those names.
One of the many workplace harassment actions that exist is mockery. This is where the efforts of an individual are being downplayed and trashed upon by other colleagues or even by the employer. In the event that one falls victim of mockery he or she can seek for legal action against the people that mock him or her so that they stop doing so.
