Paving materials typically include gravel, concrete, rocks like flagstone, setts, cobblestones, and bricks, tiles, wood, and sometimes metal. The paving of a paved area usually follows a path, with drainage being provided for the purpose of keeping water off the paved area. Paving is one of the most popular ways of laying a paved driveway.
